BRISTOL, Tenn., April 30, 2016 – Esteemed for putting “service above self,” Dr. Sharon Morrison received the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award from King University during its Spring Commencement ceremony on April 30, 2016. The prestigious award was presented to Dr. Morrison, a King alumni, for her outstanding work in the community through The Morrison School, which she and her husband, Arthur, founded in 1977 for children with learning disabilities, attention deficits, or emotional disturbances....
BRISTOL, VA (WJHL) – Ninth grader, Josiah Royce, is one of nearly 50 students at the Morrison School in Bristol, Virginia celebrating the opening of a brand new facility.
“It was really exciting because all of the space,” said Josiah. “People like the lockers, the gym, the cafeteria, they don’t have to eat at their desks.”
Morrison School was called a tiny farmhouse home for over 30 years.

BRISTOL, Va. — A long-time dream was realized Wednesday as officials of Morrison School cut the ribbon to formally open their new $2.2 million, 20,000-square-foot facility.
Located at 200 North Pinecrest Lane, the school serves special needs children in grades one-12. About 100 people attended a sun-drenched ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house.

BRISTOL, Va. — Morrison School students spent Friday afternoon working at the Bristol Emergency Food Pantry as part of an ongoing effort to raise awareness.
